Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Unbinder (“we”, “us”), the operator of the Unbinder mobile application and website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Unbinder for cataloguing and managing your trading card collection. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its data, or use automated means to scrape the service.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your sign-in method secure and don’t share your account with others. The scanner and private collection features are for users aged 13 and over; you must confirm that minimum age before the first AI-assisted scan. You must be at least 16 years old to claim a public collector handle or use trading and messaging. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.

Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, under their payment terms. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

Community guidelines

Parts of Unbinder show your content to other users: binder names, profile bios, chat messages and trade listings. When you use those features, you agree not to post:

• Harassment, threats, or hate speech directed at anyone.
• Spam, advertising unrelated to trading, or misleading content.
• Illegal content or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Scam attempts — including misrepresenting cards, fake trade offers, or trying to move a deal off-platform to defraud someone.

We automatically block obvious abusive text before posting. You can also report content or block users directly in the app (report and block options are on profiles, chats and trade listings). Our moderation team reviews reports, and violations may lead to content removal, trading restrictions, or termination of your account.

Trading between users

Trades arranged through Unbinder are agreements between the users involved — Unbinder is not a party to any trade. Any cash component of a trade is agreed between the users themselves and settled in person or outside the platform; Unbinder processes no payments between users. You are responsible for verifying the condition, authenticity and value of cards before trading. Card values shown in the app are estimates based on market data, not offers or guarantees. Trade at your own risk and use common sense: meet in safe public places and inspect cards before completing a trade.

Termination

You can stop using Unbinder and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or harm other users. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first.

Disclaimers and liability

Unbinder is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Card identification, price estimates and market data may be inaccurate or out of date, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as an EU consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
