Pokemon 30th Celebration products, pack counts and dates

The Pokemon 30th Celebration product line is not one release day and one box. The international range starts on September 16, adds opening products on October 2, Battle Decks on October 30, and three larger product families on November 6. Japan has a separate product system with different pack contents and dates.

Choose by the promo, pack count, or collecting job you want the product to do. A Binder Collection solves a different problem from a 29-pack Ultra-Premium Collection. Neither is automatically the better buy until local prices are known.

International Pokemon 30th Celebration products

The official showcase names 13 product families. Several have two or ten designs, so availability can differ even when the pack count is the same.

The regular and Pokemon Center ETBs have separate rows because their pack counts and promos differ, even though they belong to the same product family.

The standard international booster contains five foil cards and one foil Basic Energy. The Classic Collection pack in the Ultra-Premium Collection is different: it contains three cards. Keep those pack types separate when comparing totals.

This table reflects the official June 30 product showcase. It does not guarantee that every version will reach every retailer or market.

Four release waves, four different decisions

September 16: promos, ETBs, and smaller openings

The first wave offers the widest range of entry points. The two-pack products are the smallest openings. The Tech Sticker and Poster Collections add display items, while the Pokemon ex Boxes move to four packs and a featured ex promo.

The regular Elite Trainer Box has nine packs and one Nidorina promo. The Pokemon Center version has 11 packs and two Nidorina promos, including the logo-stamped copy. Choose the Pokemon Center box only if those two extra packs or the stamped promo matter after you know the actual price difference.

October 2: binder, bundle, or Mini Tin

The Binder Collection is the practical start for a set collector: five packs and a nine-pocket binder in one product. The Booster Bundle puts six packs into a simpler format. A Mini Tin has only two packs, but there are ten artworks for collectors who want the tins or art cards.

Buying all ten Mini Tin designs would mean 20 packs. That is a collection choice, not a value recommendation. Compare the local total with bundles or boxes before treating a full tin run as the default.

October 30: fixed Battle Decks

The Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks do not contain 30th Celebration boosters. Each is an all-foil 60-card deck. Espeon ex is paired with Victini, while Umbreon ex is paired with Zeraora.

Choose one when you want a playable fixed product or those featured Pokemon. Do not include it in a pack-per-product comparison.

November 6: the largest opening and display products

The Ditto Premium Collection has eight packs, a Ditto promo, and an acrylic display. The Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections each have five packs, a promo, an oversize card, and a figure.

The two Ultra-Premium Collections are the largest announced international openings. Each has 29 normal 30th Celebration packs and one three-card Classic Collection pack. One version pairs Pikachu with Espeon; the other pairs Pikachu with Umbreon. Accessories are part of the product, so pack count alone does not determine value.

Pick the product for a collecting job

For most collectors, the useful question is not “Which box is biggest?” It is “Which card or binder page am I trying to complete?” Decide that before launch stock and social posts turn every product into a must-have.

Japan has a separate lineup

Japanese prices, pack contents, and product names do not automatically apply to the international range.

The Japanese booster has a suggested retail price of ¥360. The Premium Deck Set is ¥6,200, the Futuristic Box is ¥27,500, and each regional card set is ¥1,200. These are domestic reference prices, not landed import prices after retailer markup, shipping, and tax.

Keep pack counts and prices honest

Do not mix the international five-card booster configuration with the Japanese six-card booster. Do not count a three-card Classic Collection pack as a standard booster. Keep region, language, product, pack type, promo, and observed price on the same row.

When prices become available, compare:

1. the complete local price, including shipping; 2. the number and type of packs; 3. whether you would otherwise buy the promo or accessory; 4. whether duplicates help your binder, trades, or neither.

A lower cost per pack can be useful, but it cannot tell you what a promo, figure, stamped card, or binder is worth to your collection.

Pokemon Center launch guidance

Pokemon Center's July 23 FAQ expects high traffic for the 30th Celebration launch. If a virtual queue appears, keep that window open and do not refresh it. Items can go out of stock before checkout finishes, and confirmation emails may take up to 48 hours during busy periods.

Pokemon Center does not say whether or when products will be restocked. Treat a missing restock date as unknown, not as proof that a product will never return.
