Mega Greninja ex 116 from the Pokemon Chaos Rising card list

Four Chaos Rising cards share the name Mega Greninja ex, but they fill four different binder slots. The collector number is what keeps cards 22, 100, 116, and 122 apart.

The complete Pokemon Chaos Rising card list contains 122 English catalog cards: 86 cards in the regular section and 36 cards numbered above the printed `/086` denominator. Decide which boundary you want before buying missing cards. A 122-card catalog checklist is also not automatically a master-set checklist, because parallel finishes can add more physical cards.

For a shorter artwork and price-history shortlist, use the Chaos Rising chase-card guide. For the broader method, read the Pokemon set checklist; the set checklist app shows how to turn that boundary into owned, missing, and wishlist states.

Pokemon describes Chaos Rising as a main Mega Evolution expansion with more than 120 cards. The reviewed Unbinder catalog resolves that broad official count into 122 exact English card records. Approved English card images print `/086` as the denominator, even though Pokemon.com's web database currently displays the same expansion against `/122`; this checklist follows the number printed on the physical card for binder identity.

Match the number as well as the name. That matters most for cards such as Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Dragalge ex, Cinccino ex, AZ's Tranquility, and Roxie's Performance, which appear in more than one rarity.

Verify a number against the printed list, not a table

Any checklist can be retyped wrong, this one included, so treat the numbers here as a working copy and the printed card as the authority. The pattern that trips people up is a name that appears at more than one rarity: Mega Greninja ex 100/086 and Mega Greninja ex 116/086 are the same Pokemon in the same set, one Ultra Rare and one Special Illustration Rare, and they are not interchangeable in a binder or in a price check.

Two sources settle it away from any aggregator. The official Pokemon TCG card database (opens in a new tab) carries the released set, and the official Chaos Rising product page (opens in a new tab) lists what shipped. If a number here disagrees with either, the official source wins and we correct this page. The Cardmarket Pokemon data pages (opens in a new tab) are a useful second check, because a number that exists in the catalogue but not in the official list is usually a typo on somebody's checklist.

The Froakie 88, Frogadier 89, and Mega Greninja ex 116 artwork sequence is a smaller goal with a natural finish line. It can be more satisfying than turning every rarity into an obligation.

Open the Chaos Rising set binder in Unbinder and mark the exact numbers you own. Add missing cards to a wishlist only after the binder shows a real gap.

Source and method

The table uses the Unbinder reviewed catalog and Market Reference method. On August 4, 2026, the English `me4` catalog contained 122 of 122 card records with a name, number, and rarity. The approved English image for Mega Greninja ex 116 visibly prints `116/086`; Pokemon.com's database currently renders the expansion with `/122`. Unbinder therefore uses `/086` as the printed binder boundary and 122 as the total catalog count. The counts exclude prices, graded cards, sealed products, promos outside the set, parallel finishes, and private collection data.

Official context was checked against Pokemon's Chaos Rising release article (opens in a new tab), product showcase (opens in a new tab), and Mega Greninja ex card record (opens in a new tab) on August 4, 2026.

Review this list if Pokemon corrects a card name, number, or rarity. Price modules and marketplace pages have their own dates because a stable checklist and a market observation are different evidence.

Bottom line

Chaos Rising has 122 English catalog cards: 86 in the regular section and 36 numbered above `/086`. That is enough to build a complete catalog checklist. It is not enough to define a master set until you decide which parallel finishes and outside promos belong in your binder.
